Fontagent Pro 6 Mac Crack
Well, when it rains, it pours. Hot of the heels of the script I wrote yesterday, I went back to work and finished a different script today that removes duplicate fonts from FontAgent Pro libraries. As you might already know, FontAgent Pro doesn’t let you import duplicate fonts into the same library, but that doesn’t prevent people from importing the same font(s) into a different library or worse, multiple libraries. I hope you find it useful.
FontAgent Pro is a third party application that provides additional functionality to OS X system and enjoys a popularity among Mac users. However, instead of installing it by dragging its icon to the Application folder, uninstalling FontAgent Pro may need you to do more than a simple drag-and-drop to the Trash. The Mac OS can only read font files that are loose in the system font location; it can’t read files inside another folder. To install your fonts using a font management utility (e.g., Extensis Suitcase, Font Reserve, FontAgent Pro or MasterJuggler), refer to that utility’s documentation for instructions on adding and activating the fonts. For a number of years, the options for professional font management utilities have been three: Extensis’ Suitcase Fusion, Monotype’s FontExplorer X Pro, and Insider Software’s FontAgent Pro. How to Install:
To install the script move or copy it to /Library/Application Support/FontAgent Pro/Scripts folder. Then restart or open FontAgent Pro. The script is located in the Script menu (it’s the menu item that looks like a script and is between the “Window” and “Help” menu).
How to use:
Fontagent Pro Mac Crack
- Click the Script menu, then select the “Remove Duplicate Fonts” item.
- If there are no duplicate fonts in your FontAgent Pro libraries, you will get a message saying there are no duplicates. However, if you do have duplicate fonts in multiple libraries, you will get a message saying how many font matches it found and a little introduction with instructions on how to use the script. Click the “Okay” button.
- For each font match it finds it will tell you what font it is and what libraries it is found in.
- If you prefer to not make a choice on any particular font you can simply press the “Okay” button without making a selection, or click the [[Skip this Font]] list item and press “Okay”
- To remove the duplicate fonts, select the library you wish to remove the font from. You can select multiple libraries to remove the fonts from by holding the command key and clicking on the library choices. After you’ve made your selection, click the “Okay” button and the font(s) will be removed.
- You will repeat this process until the list of duplicate fonts has been processed. At any time you can click the “Quit” button to stop processing the duplicate fonts. Re-running the script will start the whole process over again.

Known Issues:
- There currently is no way to tell the script to prefer one library over any others; or in other words, there’s no “Apply All” function. This means that if you have hundreds or thousands of duplicate fonts…it’s going to take you a while…
- Because the script is only reading the PostScript Name of the font. This is an issue because it’s likely that if you have the same font in different formats that it will consider the fonts to be duplicates. Also, if you have two fonts that are different versions, the script will still say that they are duplicate fonts. Some people might consider this apart of the normal “Removing duplicate fonts” process, but to others this behavior is a bug.
